Easy Strawberry Dessert Bruschetta Recipe

Strawberry dessert bruschetta with creamy Nutella, sliced strawberries, and toasted walnuts replaces savoury toast.  

INGREDIENTS

– 8 1/2-inch-thick slices sourdough bread – 2 Tablespoons unsalted butter, melted – 4 oz. cream cheese, at room temp – 1/3 cup Nutella hazelnut spread  – 2 cups diced strawberrie – 1/4 cup chopped walnuts, toasted (See Kelly’s Note)

Heat the oven to 400°F. Parchment a baking sheet. Place bread pieces on the baking sheet greased side up after brushing one side with melted butter.

Toast bread for 5 minutes until crispy and golden brown. Remove the toasts from the oven and cool thoroughly.

Mix cream cheese and Nutella in a stand mixer basin with the paddle attachment until smooth. Bowl and handle mixer works too.

Spread Nutella on toasts and top with diced strawberries. Garnish with toasted walnuts and serve.
