Best Kitchen Sink Cookies Recipe

– 1 cup unsalted butter, softened – 3/4 cup white sugar – 1 1/4 cups light brown sugar – 2 large eggs, cold – 2 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract – 3 cups all-purpose flour – 1 teaspoon baking soda – 1/2 teaspoon baking powder – 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt – 1/2 cup chocolate chip – 1/2 cup crushed pretzel – 1/2 cup chopped nuts of choice – /4 cup toffee bit – Sea salt, for topping (optional)

Heat the oven to 375°F. Prepare two baking sheets with parchment. Cream butter, white sugar, and brown sugar in a stand mixer basin using the paddle attachment for 2 minutes until light and fluffy.

Mix in the vanilla essence after adding the eggs one at a time. Beat in flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt until mixed. Stir in chocolate chips, crumbled pretzels, chopped nuts, and toffee bits.

Place 2-tablespoon dough mounds on baking sheets at least 2 inches apart. Bake the cookies for 9–12 minutes, rotating the pans halfway through, until the edges are slightly crispy and the centres are barely set.
